Rumors over California Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s mental health have circulated among her critics for years. Thursday, video of her “gibberish” and “bizarre” brain freezes from a press conference from earlier this week began circulating social media.
The footage has added serious fuel to these critics’ concerns.
According to The American Mirror, Pelosi suffered what appeared to have been a bizarre mental health episode while giving her weekly press conference as House Minority Leader.
Pelosi was “uttering gibberish, bizarrely laughing and staring off mid-sentence before re-engaging the press during the appearance.”
Claiming that President Donald Trump was hurting the agricultural industry, Pelosi began stuttering and struggled to finish her thoughts. “Farmers are struggling with plummeting prices, great economic uncertainty, and self-inflicted damage of the Trump tariffs. I say self… self… for our country,” she said.
That’s triggered a series of bizarre behaviors from Pelosi, who struggled to get words out of her mouth.
“But, Republicans wrote a bill that abandons farmer… uh, fa… uhh–far–farmer families. It weaken… weakensss the farmers’… safety net.” Pelosi stammered later in the video.
When talking about food stamps, Pelosi mentioned “1.5 million veterans” before stopping and staring blankly at the crowd with a look of confusion. A few awkward seconds later, Pelosi composed herself and continued, “…are invovled in the nutrition program.”
“This is ideological about… I dunno,” Pelosi questioned. “Taking the food out of the mouths of babies? That, maybe, is a priority for… them.”
Pelosi’s struggles weren’t over there. Changing the subject to drug prices, Pelosi struggled to articulate her dislike of Trump’s plan.
“President Trump’s monthel–monfs– MONTHS-delayed speech on prescription drugs,” Pelosi said.
Her struggles continue, including brain freezes, empty stares, miscounting of her own fingers, and one unexplained laughing fit.
